day fourteen: sneak attack

I would not say that 6:30am classes are my first choice. However, once I am there, I LOVE them, nay, I LEURVE them! It was a challenge to not let my ego get in the way when my body and my muscles were SCREAMING in pain, so I only did about 40% of my max over the entire class. What an amazing practice to just hold back, hold back, hold back...conserve conserve conserve and find a way to express my practice with less. Less was totally more this morning. The truth is that the earlier I practice, the better. My body is not 100%, but it is starting to open and repair in a much happier way than it could have. What a great day!

day thirteen: post move yoga

The move today went really really well and really really quickly. It was still light outside when we were finished and I thought to myself WOW - Practice today might be easier than I thought. Which is funny because it was RIGHT before I went to bed before I actually remembered to practice. My muscles hurt like I have never remembered. The few poses that I practiced to help untie some of the tension under my skin felt like a warm, much needed, saving grace. I slept like a baby in my new room, excited about a new world.
